It's bedtime again, but Isaiah can't sleep. It seems he's got too many things on his mind; things he’s worried about. So Mom helps Isaiah imagine what it would be like if each of his worries were a block that he could stash in his backpack...

What a magical day out with friends!

I wished I lived in this town and got to go on such a great adventure! I love the muted illustrations which go so well with the story. I look forward to reading more books from this author.

No talking pencils, fruit or flying carpets...just intelligent, meaningful stories that children and adults can relate to. This page highlights a collection of diverse children’s books by kidsShelf Books. Visit www.pamricedesign.com to see the entire line. These books are written to peak children’s imagination and tap some of their actual experiences. There are adventures that motivate children to think and play outside the box.

We try to encourage new writers to use quality & design production services. We also highlight illustrators, which we think have a professional and unique style. Hopefully, this will encourage new authors and writers who struggle to find a style of illustration for their books. We offer tips and give suggestions on creating great book covers.

We encourage new authors to participate in our Quarterly Book Cover Contest. (LIKE our page and stay tuned for postings). We comment on why winning covers were selected, giving writers a hint of what makes a great cover. Often, we have FREE book promotions. Again, LIKE our page and stay tuned for postings.

Carlisle's Trumpet

Playing his trumpet is something Carlise does every day. He plays to his neighbor's animals, mornings and evenings. He gets frustrated sometimes not playing a larger venue. He's urged to keep practicing because something will come of it one day...and he does.  ONLINE $10

Carlisle's Trumpet Gives us A Great Reason To Cuddle With Our Kids To Read Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2020

Carlisle’s Trumpet by Pamela C Rice is an absolutely spectacular picture book. Carlisle is a young boy who loves to play his trumpet. He loves playing his trumpet outside, and he soon builds an adoring audience of cows, birds and chickens. The chickens love his playing so much they lay more eggs. As much as he loves playing for them Carlisle dreams of playing on a bigger stage. His mom encourages him to keep playing and assures him that his dream will come true. And it does.

There is so much to love about this book. We absolutely love the breathtaking illustrations. This is a picture book that you and your kids should to take a picture walk through before reading the story. We love the many lessons the story teaches, lessons about sharing your gifts, being part of a community and working hard to make your dreams come true.

Carlisle’s Trumpet would be a great addition to any family library.
